Badachu refers to eight temples respectively, namely Chang'an Temple, Lingguang Temple, Sanshan Nunnery, Dabei Temple, Longquan Nunnery, Xiangjie Temple, Baozhu Cave and Zhengguo Temple.

It is located outside the Fifth Ring Road in the western suburbs of Beijing. These eight temples all have a long history and have always enjoyed a flourishing incense. At present, Chang'an Temple is temporarily closed, while the other seven are open to tourists.

Among them, Lingguang Temple is particularly special. There is a tooth relic of the Buddha enshrined in the temple. As there are only two such precious tooth relics of the Buddha in the whole world, Lingguang Temple is famous among Buddhist temples. And it is said to be very efficacious, attracting many believers and tourists.

In addition to the traditional Badachu, the recently discovered Cliff Valley is called the "Ninth Place" by people. There are many Buddha statues and Bodhisattva statues carved in the Ming Dynasty on the stone cliff, which have artistic and ornamental values.

The temple gardens here are simple, ancient, solemn and quiet, with a beautiful environment. There are also many trees such as ginkgo trees and maple trees. Every autumn, the golden ginkgo leaves and the fiery red maple leaves set off each other, presenting a beautiful scene. It is a very pleasant experience to take a walk to enjoy the surrounding scenery or climb the mountain to worship the Buddha in the temples at this time.
