BeiHai Park
Historical Status and General Situation
Beihai Park is located in the center of Beijing. It holds an extremely important position in the history of existing gardens in China. It is one of the earliest established classical imperial gardens, and after going through the vicissitudes of time, it remains the most completely preserved and has the deepest cultural deposits. This garden has witnessed the development and evolution of ancient Chinese imperial gardens and is an outstanding representative of ancient imperial garden art.

Division of Areas
The park takes Beihai, this vast expanse of water area, as its center and is ingeniously divided into four major areas: the "North Shore Scenic Area", the "East Shore Scenic Area", the "Qiongdao Scenic Area", and the "Tuancheng Scenic Area". Each area has its own characteristics, with numerous unique scenic spots and landscapes, jointly forming the rich and diverse garden scenery of Beihai Park.
Boating Experience and Features in the Evening
Beihai Park has a vast expanse of water area, which is a very rare landscape resource within the city of Beijing. The evening is the best time for boating in the park. At this time, tourists can leisurely row boats, shuttling across the lake surface, and fully enjoy the imperial buildings that carry historical memories. When taking a rest by the lakeside, they can also chat with the elderly beside them about the little-known anecdotes of the imperial family in Beijing, experiencing the profound historical deposits and unique cultural atmosphere behind this ancient city.
Features of the East Shore Scenic Area
In the East Shore Scenic Area, there are several courtyard-style gardens within the garden, such as Haopujian, Huafangzhai, and Cantan. These garden buildings are ingeniously hidden among the green pines and cypresses, creating a quiet and secluded atmosphere. They are full of natural charm, making people feel as if they are in the embrace of nature, and also exude the delicate charm of private gardens in the south of the Yangtze River, giving people the illusion of being in the water towns of the south of the Yangtze River, demonstrating unique garden art charm.

Features of the North Shore Scenic Area
In the North Shore Scenic Area, there are many scenic spots such as Jingxinzhai, Xitian Fanjing, Chengguantang, Nine-Dragon Wall, Chanfusi, and the Pure Land of Bliss distributed from east to west. Among them, the Five-Dragon Pavilion is scattered in an orderly manner along the lakeside, and they are cleverly integrated with the surrounding natural landscapes, like a landscape painting that seems to be a natural creation without any traces of artificial carving. Each scenic spot here carries rich historical and cultural connotations, demonstrating the exquisite skills and magnificent styles of ancient imperial garden architecture.
Features of the "Qiongdao Chunyin" Landscape
Beihai Park also has the famous landscape of "Qiongdao Chunyin", one of the Eight Scenes of Yanjing. April of each year is the best time to appreciate "Qiongdao Chunyin". At that time, the flowers and trees on the island are budding, and the rocks look even more charming against the backdrop of green trees and blooming flowers. The whole landscape presents an extremely moving beauty, as if it is a spring painting carefully drawn by nature, attracting numerous tourists to come and admire it, experiencing the unique beauty of the spring garden.
