Beijing Fenghuangling Nature Park
The Beijing Fenghuangling Scenic Area has unique advantages. It has the beautiful scenery of the outer suburbs while enjoying the convenient roads like those in the inner suburbs. It can be regarded as a natural oxygen reservoir in Beijing and is an ideal choice for people to go sightseeing, take vacations and hold conferences.
There are a variety of natural landscapes in the scenic area, such as peaks, rocks, forests and springs, each with its own charm. And they set off and complement the cultural landscapes like temples, inscriptions, pagodas and incense paths, which are full of interest and create a unique atmosphere.
The scenic area has planned three tour routes. The northern route enables people to appreciate the lively beauty of flowing springs and waterfalls. The middle route is home to the famous Longquan Temple in western Beijing, which has an ancient charm. The southern route is a place where the cultures of Buddhism, Taoism and Confucianism converge and blend, with a profound cultural heritage.
At the end of March and the beginning of April every year, nearly a thousand mu of apricot blossoms in the scenic area will bloom competitively, forming a sea of flowers. The scene is extremely spectacular, attracting many tourists to come and enjoy this beautiful spring scenery.
