Beijing Fun
Beijing Fun, as a new cultural landmark of Beijing. Hutongs are the most familiar feature to Beijingers. Beijing Fun has retained and continued the important geographical textures of Langfang Toutiao, Langfang Ertiao, Menkuang Hutong, Sanfu Hutong and so on. It has maximally protected and reshaped the historical appearance of this plot, demonstrating the collision between the ancient charm and modern fashion of the capital city.
In the open blocks of Beijing Fun, there are many landscape and cultural sites designed. The central building - Beijing Quanyechang Building has three floors above ground and one floor below ground. There are three atriums set in the longitudinal direction inside, and three-story cloisters are arranged around it. The street-facing facade is in the Baroque style. At the entrance of the main gate, there is a Western-style door cover. The second and third floors are decorated with pilasters, window casings and balconies on the facade, and a parapet wall is built on the eaves. Its interior decoration is exquisite. It was the first building in Beijing equipped with an elevator with cabins and an amusement park, and was once praised as "the No. 1 Commercial Building in the Capital".
