Cuandixia Village
Cuandixia Village has a long history of more than 400 years. More than 70 sets of quadrangle dwellings from the Ming and Qing dynasties are well preserved here, full of antique charm. It is worth mentioning that the famous movie "The Warlords" was filmed in this village, which also made it known to more people.
Many of the old buildings in the village are open to tourists and can be visited. Among them, buildings such as the Rich Man's Courtyard, the Five-way Temple, and the Guan Yu Temple are quite imposing, each with its own characteristics and historical and cultural connotations, enabling people to deeply feel the style of that era. In addition, there is an observation platform on the mountainside of the Golden Toad Mountain opposite the village. Standing on the observation platform, the whole village and the surrounding beautiful scenery can be seen in full view, presenting a unique scene.
Nowadays, many farmhouse inns have been opened in the village. Every weekend, many people will choose to come here to experience the simple rural life of sleeping on heated kang beds and eating farmhouse dishes, and feel the unique tranquility and comfort of the countryside. Moreover, there are also scenic spots such as One-line Sky beside the village. After visiting the village, you can also drop by these places to fully appreciate the unique charm of the combination of nature and cultural landscapes.
