·The Dingling Mausoleum is the tomb of Emperor Zhu Yijun of the Wanli period and his two empresses. It has the only excavated underground palace among the Thirteen Tombs of the Ming Dynasty and is one of the three largest tombs among the Thirteen Tombs.
·The underground palace of the Dingling Mausoleum is the only developed underground palace among the Thirteen Tombs at present. It is the first imperial mausoleum that was planned to be excavated after the founding of the People's Republic of China. More than 3,000 pieces of cultural relics of various kinds were unearthed from the underground palace, among which there are four national treasures: the Golden Crown, the Phoenix Crown, the Night Pearl and the Ming Tri-colored Glazed Pottery.

·The underground palace is further divided into the main hall, the side halls and the front hall, which are exactly the same as the above-ground buildings. There is no beam frame inside. It is a stone arched vault, quite tall and spacious. There are seven white marble stone doors weighing 4 tons each inside. They are ingeniously designed and can be opened and closed flexibly. On the coffin platform in the rear hall lie the coffins of Zhu Yijun and his two empresses, and beside the coffins are 26 red lacquered wooden boxes filled with burial objects.
