Xidan Commercial Street

Xidan Commercial Street is located in Xicheng District, Beijing. Its history can be traced back to the Ming Dynasty. It was an important passage for merchants and travelers from the southwest to enter the capital city. Later, due to factors such as the procurement of government offices, it gradually became prosperous. The establishment of Xidan Shopping Mall in 1929 further enriched its commercial forms.
